This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data for any app published by the developer TWS Software on the App Store or Google Play.
From within the app
When an app lets you create an account, it offers an account deletion option in its settings. Deletion is carried out directly, without having to contact us.
By email
- Email contact@tws-software.com with the subject "Account deletion".
- Include the app name and the email address or username linked to your account.
- We may ask you to confirm that you own the account, then confirm the deletion by email. Requests are handled within 30 days at most.
Data that is deleted
- Account information (email address, username, profile);
- Content and preferences stored on our servers;
- Usage data linked to your account.
Data that is kept
Some data may be kept where required by law (for example accounting records, for up to 10 years) or in anonymised form that can no longer identify you. Backups are erased no later than 30 days after deletion.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can request deletion of specific data only, using the same email procedure and specifying which data you want deleted.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Remember to cancel it from your store settings.
